Daniel Pioro ‘O Ecclesia’ with BBC Phil & RNCM, Hermes Experiment play ‘I Find Planets’

Daniel Pioro is performing our collaborative arrangement of Hildegard von Bingen’s O Ecclesia twice in the next month. Daniel and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra are giving the public premiere on 13 November at Leeds Town Hall, in a programme with Edmund Finnis’ The Centre is Everything, and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. That’ll be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 at some point soon.

Then on 26 November Daniel plays it with the Royal Northern College of Music String Orchestra in Manchester – also with the Finnis, plus Caroline Shaw’s Punctum and Larry Goves’ two-way mirror.

We devised the piece together for a radio concert with the BBC Philharmonic, without audience, in May.

In between, The Hermes Experiment are giving their third performance of I Find Planets, at London’s Blackheath Halls on 14 November at 5pm.
